AT&T has an opening for a Business Development and Strategy Lead to conduct complex market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts complex market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
  • Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives and potential and/or executed transactions.
  • Develops and maintains relationships across AT&T, our partners, and government officials.
  • Analyzes market conditions, regulatory environment, competitive conditions, strategic and business plans, and existing business and technical operations.
  • Collaborate and support legal, accounting and business inspection of acquisition or joint venture.
  • Creates financial models to assess the economic value of potential opportunities.
  • Formulates business forecasts.
  • Participates in the negotiations of principal terms and conditions of transactions.
  • Creates presentation materials for internal approval from Officers or Executives of AT&T and affiliates.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of market trends and financial situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree with over 10 years of experience, strong communication skills, prior business development experience in the Intel Community market.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A breadth of skills across different areas of business development: opportunity qualification, capture strategy, pricing strategy, proposal development, customer contact plans, customer relationship development, industry relationship development, industry business development forum participation.
  • Experience in leading or supporting large captures (>$100M). Experience negotiating teaming agreements. Advanced degree.
